Introduction to Six-axis Robotic Soldering Machine

Today, we are introducing a new-generation, online 6-axis robotic automatic soldering machine from ULIROBOTS, developed for intelligent production. It is designed to meet the demands of high-end electronics manufacturing enterprises for further informatization and automation in smart manufacturing. Production processes can be monitored, MES integration is supported, and data traceability is ensured.

Product Features:

  1. ABB 6-Axis Robotic Arm: Equipped with an ABB 6-axis robotic arm, featuring a compact body, sleek appearance, and a working range of up to 700mm.

  2. High-Precision Vision System: Integrated with a German Basler CCD and an intelligent control unit, enabling fast positioning with a single image capture, with accuracy controllable to less than 0.02mm.

  3. Reliable Control System: Utilizes Siemens industrial control and PLC, ensuring reliable long-term system operation.

  4. Advanced Soldering Module: Features a German Weller 200W high-power temperature-controlled heating module, offering rapid heat conduction and a soldering tip life replacement reminder.

  5. Production Line Communication: The equipment can communicate with the production line, reading product information via optical scanning (OR) and RFID to automatically retrieve the corresponding product's soldering program.

    <%contents;">Precautions

During soldering operations, solder joints should not be overly saturated; they should be of optimal volume to prevent excessively large solder points from potentially short-circuiting with adjacent pads. The solder should form a small semicircle around the component lead for a neat and optimal joint on the circuit board.

Furthermore, the soldering machine's leads should not be excessively thin or long, and the voltage drop during soldering must not exceed 5% of the initial voltage. Operators must also wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and safety glasses during operation.

During use, avoid cleaning the soldering iron tip on a wet sponge. Instead, simply deposit any excess solder from the tip into a dedicated hard paper solder collection box. This practice helps prevent the soldering iron tip's temperature from dropping rapidly.

Finally, after daily use of the soldering machine, first clean it, then tin the tip with sufficient solder, and immediately cut off the power. These steps contribute to extending the machine's service life.
